Your privacy

In short: this website sets no cookies of its own and has no analytics or tracking. The contact form uses hCaptcha to block spam bots. We only get personal information when you choose to contact us, and we use it only to reply. We never sell it.
This notice explains how 3rd Man TechLab ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through 3rdmantechlab.com. We are based in Chennai, India.
What we collect
- When you use the contact form: your name, work email, company (optional) and your message.
- When you start filling in the contact form: the form loads hCaptcha, a check that you're a person and not a spam bot. hCaptcha looks at technical details such as your IP address and how your browser behaves. Visitors who don't use the form never load it.
- When you email us, for example at careers@3rdmantechlab.com or sales@3rdmantechlab.com: your email address, what you write, and anything you attach, such as a CV.
We don't ask for sensitive information. Please don't include it in your message or CV, such as identity numbers or health or financial details.
What we don't collect
The website itself sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising tools, and doesn't track you across sites. Like any website, the services below do see basic technical details when your browser loads the page, such as your IP address and browser type.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and continue the conversation you started.
- To consider you for a role, if you've applied or sent your CV.
- To keep our services secure and stop spam and abuse.
We use your information because you chose to send it to us, for the purpose you sent it. We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you ask us to.
Who helps us run this
We use a few trusted service providers. They only handle your information to provide their service to us:
- hCaptcha (Intuition Machines) checks contact form submissions for spam bots. It may set its own cookies while you use the form. See hCaptcha's privacy policy.
- Web3Forms delivers contact form messages to our inbox. It doesn't store the messages it forwards. It may keep server logs for a short time, about two months. Its servers are in the United States.
- Google Workspace hosts our email, where your messages and CVs are kept.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and protects it from attacks.
- Google Fonts provides the website's fonts. Your browser loads them directly from Google.
Some of these providers may process information outside India, including in the United States. We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: for as long as we need to deal with them, then for up to 2 years for our business records.
- CVs and applications: for up to 2 years, so we can contact you about suitable roles. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you
- correct it or bring it up to date
- delete it
- stop using it, if you change your mind about contacting us
Email hr@3rdmantechlab.com with the subject "Privacy request". We'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live. In India, that's the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to our inboxes is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security, but we take reasonable care.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and job seekers. It isn't intended for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
